I really like the base of this lamp - it's sturdy, easy to put together, and looks great in the space. The only thing that was a bit of a disappointment was the shade - it looks white in the photos, but it's quite creamy, with a yellow tone. Not quite as crisp against the black and brass as I'd hoped, and I will probably have to switch out the shade. Very good value for money, though.
